Terms of Service
Trigger.dev Report Generator — effective 31 August 2026.
These terms govern use of the Trigger.dev Report Generator ("the application"), operated by Desmond Loy ("the operator") and published at periscopenotes.com. By submitting the intake form you agree to them.
1. What the application is
The application accepts four pieces of information about a company and produces a written brief discussing them, which it stores as a document in the operator's Google Drive. It is a private automation tool. Access is at the operator's discretion, and the application may be changed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time without notice.
2. The output is machine-generated
Briefs are drafted by a large language model. The text may be incomplete, generic, or factually wrong, and it may describe circumstances that do not apply. It is not professional, financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified adviser. Any decision taken on the basis of a generated brief is taken at your own risk. Verify anything that matters before acting on it.
3. Acceptable use
Do not submit personal data, confidential information belonging to a third party, credentials, or anything unlawful. Do not use the application to generate content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or infringing. Do not attempt to disrupt the application or gain access to systems or data it uses.
4. Information you submit
You confirm you are entitled to submit the information you enter. Submitted information is processed as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Ownership
You retain any rights you hold in the information you submit. Generated documents are stored in the operator's Google Drive account and are made available at the operator's discretion.
6. No warranty
The application is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The operator does not warrant that the application will be available, uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, and does not guarantee that any submission will produce a document.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the application or its output — whether or not the possibility of such loss was known.
8. Third-party services
The application relies on OpenAI, Google, and Trigger.dev. Their availability, behaviour, and terms are outside the operator's control, and interruptions caused by them are not the operator's responsibility.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with its effective date shown above. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
